Sacred Dream Temple:

An Immersive Weekend Retreat for Collective Dream Ritual

A modern reawakening of sacred dream incubation practices and collective dream rites

Reenchant your life with the power of collective dreaming

August 21–23

Dreamland Sanctuary, Worcester, VT

In ancient cultures, dreams were medicine.

Pilgrims once traveled across vast distances to sacred temples, sleeping in consecrated chambers in search of healing, guidance, and divine insight. In the temples of Asklepios and incubation sanctuaries across Egypt and the Mediterranean world, seekers prepared through purification rites, ritual invocation, and sacred sleep.

In early Celtic traditions, dreams and visionary sleep were likewise honored as portals of prophecy and poetic revelation. Medieval Irish texts describe seers and fili entering altered states through ritual fasting and intentional sleep to receive inspiration and insight — practices that echo the wider human understanding that wisdom emerges in liminal states between worlds.

Dreaming was for insight. Dreaming was personal and communal. Dreaming guided the future of the community. Dreaming was sacred.

Many of us feel the deep yearning to return — to remember our dreams, to step again into imaginal landscapes where the soul is nourished and deeper intelligence can be heard.

Now is the time to revive the sacred art of collective dreaming and dream incubation.

THE EXPERIENCE

Dream Temple is a three-day immersive gathering devoted to:

  • Dream incubation for personal insight and healing

  • Collective dreaming for the guidance of our communities

  • Reawakening relationship with the Earth as living intelligence

We gather not only to dream for ourselves, but to dream with and for the wider world.

Held within the forest grounds and stone circle of Dreamland Sanctuary, this retreat offers a contained and intentional space for sacred sleep and symbolic revelation.

What This Weekend Offers

  • Ritual preparation and purification rites

  •  Herbal dream elixirs and botanical allies

  • Guided dream incubation practices

  • Sacred sleep in a consecrated container

  •  Morning dream councils

  • Embodied dream exploration and symbolic amplification

  • Stone circle ceremony under the open sky

  • Integration and closing rites

This is much more than a casual workshop. This is an opportunity to expand your dream horizon, to encounter the magic, myth, and mystery of the imaginal realms, in the safe container of an intentional dream temple.
